masterclass

Be mesmerised by this introduction to South East Asian alcohol and spirits. Develop a palate for cocktails made with local and regional ingredients. Under the guidance of a well-known Singapore mixologist, see how local and regional ingredients are used to create delicious cocktails. Cinnamon, betel, turmeric and curry leaves, as well as starfruit and artisanal spirits distilled in nearby countries like Sri Lanka, India and Thailand, are common ingredients in this bartender’s repertoire.

In this workshop, participants learn about the origins, creative process, nosing elements and tastes of three selected craft spirits in a beautiful bar highlighting artisanal products made by a select number of independent companies and artists. Admire ceramics by Ummuramics, graffiti artwork by Rajesh Kumar and batik-designed bartender aprons crafted by FIN Crafted Goods Co.
